This policy covers the Rising Sun Messenger assistant, operated by Rising Sun Adventure LLC ("Rising Sun", "we"): the AI system that answers Facebook Messenger conversations for the Rising Sun Page and for other businesses' Pages that use it. It explains what happens to your information when you send one of those Pages a message.

When you message another business's Page, Rising Sun runs the assistant on that business's behalf. That business can read your conversation and reply to you directly, and its own use of your information is its responsibility. Everything Rising Sun does with your messages is described below.

• ● Your messages. The text you send, the assistant's replies, and any replies the business sends you from its Page inbox, with the time each was sent. If you send a photo or file we don't keep it — we only record that an attachment was sent.
• ● A Page-specific ID. Meta gives each person a different ID for each Page they message. We use it to keep your conversation together. It isn't your Facebook profile ID and can't be used to find you elsewhere on Facebook.
• ● Your name, sometimes. If you ask about pricing, want a call, or describe a project, we ask Meta for your first and last name. We put it in a notification to the business owner so they know who to reply to. We don't save it in our database.
• ● Message IDs. Meta's ID numbers for each message, used to avoid answering the same message twice and to tell our replies apart from the business owner's.

• → To write replies to your messages, using what you've said earlier in the conversation.
• → To judge whether you want to buy something or talk to a person, and to write a one-line summary of what you're looking for.
• → To alert the business owner when you want to talk to them, so a person can reply.
• → To stop the assistant from replying once the business owner has joined the conversation.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. We share it only with the business whose Page you messaged and the services listed below.

Replies come from an AI model unless the business owner writes to you directly. If you ask whether you're talking to a bot, it will say yes. The assistant can make mistakes. Prices, availability, and any commitment are confirmed only when the business owner confirms them.

• ◆ Meta. Your messages reach us through Facebook Messenger, and our replies go back through Messenger. Meta's handling of them is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy.
• ◆ Anthropic. Your conversation is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write each reply. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, that data is not used to train its models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• ◆ Notifications. Alerts to the business owner go through a push notification server that Rising Sun runs itself. If the business uses text-message alerts, they are sent through Twilio. An alert includes your name, a one-line summary, and your latest message.
• ◆ The law. We will disclose information if the law requires it.

We keep your conversation history so the assistant can follow the thread if you message again, and so the business can follow up. It stays until you ask us to delete it, or until the business stops using the assistant — then we delete that business's conversations. Our server logs, kept for troubleshooting, also record your Page-specific ID and a one-line summary of each exchange. Copies of alerts already delivered to the business owner may stay on their phone.

Email maco144@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Messenger data". We don't store your name, so to find your conversation please include:

• 1. The name of the Page you messaged
• 2. Roughly when you messaged it
• 3. The words of one message you sent

We will delete your messages and conversation record within 30 days and confirm by email. The same address works for asking what we hold about you or for correcting it. Deleting data on our side doesn't remove the conversation from Messenger; you can delete it there yourself.

Our server only accepts messages that Meta has cryptographically signed. It runs behind a single public entry point, and its credentials are kept out of source code. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

Messenger is for people 13 and older, and the assistant is not meant for children. If you believe a child has messaged it, email us and we will delete that conversation.

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
